BARBER DODGE FINAL QUALIFYING SESSION, SEBRING INT'L RACEWAY

SEBRING, Fla. (Mar. 14) - SCCA Pro Racing, Barber Dodge Pro Series starting order after second of two qualifying sessions. Driver's time is the best from either session.

Barber Dodge, Round 2 of 12 at Sebring, 3.6-mile, 17-turn road course.

QUAL. NOTES: *No drivers in the top 20 were able to improve their times from this morning's first qualifying session. Fastest in second session was Nicolas Rondet, with a 2:07.305 lap. Temperature was no cooler than this morning, and track was not as grippy. *Brian McCarthy crashed hard at the exit of Turn 17 with less than a minute to go. Driver ok, car will be repaired in time for Saturday morning's green flag. *There are no on-track activities for Barber Dodge on Friday; there will be a 15 minute warmup at 7:45 Saturday a.m., then a scheduled 9:00 a.m. start. *First 12 drivers within one second. *Tony Renna's time of 2:06.634 is almost 1.5 seconds faster than the old record (track is 1/10th of a mile shorter this year) held by Diego Guzman, 1994. *Renna put up his fast lap on the last lap of session; *St. Pete winner Fartuszek will start 12th, 2nd place Larsson will start second, 3rd place Mastronardi 21st.
