PONCE INLET, FL -- The All Star Circuit of Champions Sprint car series has a busy May slate ahead. Saturday night May 1 starts off the month at K-C Raceway near Chillicothe for a 40-lap feature before the All Stars head east for their annual Central Pa. visit. Up first down east is the Grandview (PA) Speedway for Thunder on the Hill, Wed. May 5. A first place share of $5,000 is on the line for 35 laps plus a $200 bonus for fast time from GALCO Business Communications. Also, GALCO is sponsoring a $1,000 bonus for a new track record if anyone breaks the current 11.839 Grandview mark.
Williams Grove Speedway near Mechanicsburg is up next, Fri. May 7, followed by visits to Lincoln Speedway (Hanover) on Saturday and then back across the state to Sharon Speedway in Hartford, Oh. on May 9.
Attica Raceway Park in Attica, OH hosts the series on Friday, May 14, followed by a return to Eldora Speedway in Rossburg May 15. The Wolverine state will see their first All Star appearance of the season on Saturday, May 22 at the New 96 Speedway in Lake Odessa, with Millstream Speedway in Findlay, OH hosting the All Stars for the first time in 1999 on May 23. Lima Motorsports Park in Allentown, just outside Lima will see All Star action Saturday, May 29 with K-C Raceway closing out the month with a Sunday night show on Memorial Day eve, May 30.
