ALLSTAR: Mercer Preview

All Stars coming to Mercer Friday and Saturday Sept 25-26

MERCER, PA - The second annual Fall Nationals for the All Star Sprint Cars will take place Friday and Saturday, September 25 and 26 at Mercer Raceway Park. Both days are complete shows. On Friday night, the 30-lap feature will pay $5,000 to-win. There will also be more than $800 in lap money available. Also on the card that night will be the Pure Stocks for $500 to-win.

Saturday will also feature a 30-lap main, but the winner will take home $7,000. Once again more than $800 in lap money will be up for grabs. The 6-Cylinder Modifieds and West-Penn Limited Modifieds will join the action with $500 going to each feature winner. Last year, Dean Jacobs of Wooster, Ohio won the first night driving his Frigidaire sponsored #1F. The following night was rained out. Kenny Jacobs is the current All Star point leader. Other All Star regulars include Dean Jacobs, Joey Saldana, Keith Kauffman, Frankie Kerr, Kevin Huntley, Brian Smith, Scott Jones, Judi Bates, and Sarah Fisher.
