RUHLMAN THIRD IN FIRST SESSION AT LONG BEACH GRAND PRIX
Driver Randy Ruhlman ran a 1:24.59 in the first session at the Long Beach Grand Prix, finishing third behind 2004 Trans-Am Champion Paul Gentilozzi and top diver Boris Said.
Ruhlman says after the session, "I feel good about that session. It was fun, it felt good, but there is a lot of time still out there. It is going to be a traffic battle. The car is really comfortable, and I know where I need to make up some time on these guys. Paul and Boris are fast too, and Greg Pickett is always good here."
"I felt like I had never been gone. I also never felt like I had a really clean good lap, so the later session will be fun to go out there and see what we can do to get ready for tomorrow morning's qualifying. "
