Washington DC: Paul Fix race report

Paul Fix beats the heats to take the Hard Charger and 9th place at DC Grand Prix.

Washington, DC (July 20, 2002) - With cockpit temperatures over 150 degrees mixed with a new road course, there were many challenges. Beating the heat is a real challenge and Paul and his team were able to overcome these obstacles. Paul Fix started 21st due to mechanical problems, as the green flag dropped Paul made quick work of the field and worked his way up to 9th place before the 61 lap race ended. This earns Paul his 3rd MSD Hard Charger Award, and moves him even higher in the BF Goodrich Cup championship drivers points.
