Points toward 2008n USAC Earl's Fast Qualifier Championships will be distributed at four venues this week. Series involved are the Mopar National Midgets (Beaver Dam, WI), Western Sprints (Salt Lake City, UT). Lucas Oil USAC/CRA Sprints and Western Midgets (Calistoga, CA) and K & N Silver Crown (DuQuoin, IL).
Point leaders entering this week's action are Tracy Hines (Silver Crown), Bobby East (National Midgets), Tanner Swanson (Western Sprints), Scott Pierovich (Western Midgets) and Mike Spencer (USAC/CRA Sprints).
East, Michael Pickens, Nic Faas and Danny Sheridan all picked up fast time honors in last week's USAC action. East and Pickens paced Saturday and Sunday National Midget qualifying at Sun Prairie, Wis., while Faas was the fastest qualifier in the Western Midgets at Hanford, Calif. Sheridan paced USAC/CRA Sprint qualifying at Perris, Calif.
