FF: NE: Lowville preview

NORTHEAST FOCUSES HEAD TO LOWVILLE

Fresh off a four-week hiatus, the USAC Northeast Ford Focus Midget Car Series is back at it, this time at Adirondack International Speedway in Lowville, N.Y. Saturday night.

Ryan Smith of Kunkletown, Pa., who has competed in three Ford Focus regions thus far in 2005, is the early leader in the points standings following his victory at Oswego Speedway in Oswego, N.Y. Smith led all 25 laps at the track May 14.

USAC has sanctioned 74 feature events in The Empire State, though none have come in Lowville. The quarter-mile track is scheduled to host USAC Ford Focus events this weekend as well as July 29.
