KM: Anderson finale pre-event notes

3 DRIVERS BATTLE FOR KENYON MIDGET LEAD AT ANDERSON

Drivers Drew Charlson, Caleb Armstrong and Jeff WImmenauer all have their sights set on the 2008 USAC Kenyon Midget driving title. Saturday the will battle for supremacy at the Anderson (Ind.) Speedway and any one of the three could emerged with the series point lead.

Charlson leads Armstrong by 15 points, with Wimmenauer 27 behind Armstrong in third. A total of 74 points are available at Anderson.

Charlson, of New Bremen, Ohio, has five wins this season, including three at Anderson. Armstrong, of New Castle, Ind., has four wins this year, including two at Anderson. Wimmenauer, of New Whiteland, Ind., also has four wins, with three coming at Anderson.

Grant Galloway of Lakeville, Ind. and Mike Terry Jr. of Plainfield, Ind. are the other 2008 winners at Anderson, Galloway winning twice and Terry once.

The 2008 USAC Kenyon Midget Series concludes October 4-5 at Anderson.
