The Le Mans Test Day was rather difficult for the Belgian squad G-Force. "It all started well as I managed to do my compulsory laps to get on the grid," explains Frank Hahn. "But when I entered the pitlane, the team discovered a major problem at the starter engine.
"The guys did a perfect job in getting the car back on the track but the consequences of this all were much more important than we could have thought. A part of the clutch literally exploded during the qualifying laps of our French driver Jean François Leroch. Due to this failure, Jean François will not be on the grid, a major disappointment for the team and especially for him. All G-Force feels really sorry for him."
"We now have to find an agreement with one of the candidates for the remaining seat. This driver needs a wild-card based on earlier achievements in Le Mans, just as Val Hillebrand. But I would have liked Jean François after all." ends a disappointed Frank Hahn.
