A milestone in the Pescarolo Sport ambiance for this qualification practice session with a fantastic evolution: at last fighting for the first rows!
The crew in car # 17, the 908 HDi FAP, fought for a superb 4th position on the starting grid. An homogeneous team of drivers with Jean-Christophe Boullion signing his best lap at the end of the first session in 3'24''062. All team members, drivers - engineers and mechanics, hope that soon the modifications of the ACO regulations will allow them to share this fabulous sporting spirit again: their only source of motivation.
In the meantime, Christophe Tinseau at the wheel of the Pescarolo-Judd # 16 was focusing on the specific setups to the Le Mans circuit. As it is often the case in Sarthe, Christophe was held back in traffic while attempting a lap in 3.27 and could not reach the objective : 1st " petrol car " on the grid. Still, with the car on the 6th row, the talented and experienced drivers are ready for this long race where anything can happen.
