Kaeding Hopes to Rebound at Lernerville
SARVER, PA (May 14) -- Tim Kaeding is looking forward to Tuesday's World of Outlaws Commonwealth Clash at Lernerville Speedway, hoping it will get Woodward Racing back on track.
Kaeding drove the #2 Volcano Joe's Coffee Schnee with a heavy heart Saturday at Lake Ozark Speedway and finished in 20th place. The team learned that regular driver Brooke Tatnell's father, George, passed away that afternoon.
"Hopefully, this week we can pick up where we left off from Friday," said Kaeding, who raced into second place in the Missouri High-Banked Nationals at U.S. 36 Raceway Friday. "We don't know when Brooke will be back, so we're just going to keep doing the best we can. I've only been to Lernerville once or twice, so it will be a whole new experience again. Then we go to Williams Grove where we haven't run there in a couple of years. We just hope to get some decent runs. There's a lot of competition up there, so we'll just be happy to make the show. You never know."
