LEGGE TAKES A TOP FIVE RESULT AT FUNDIDORA PARK
PKV Racing-backed driver Katherine Legge marked her second consecutive top five result this Sunday, during her second start in Round two of 2005 Toyota Atlantic Championship held at Fundidora Park in Monterrey, Mexico.
"I think it was a very good race. This is a track that is difficult to pass on and I raced the best that I could. I had to be sensible to finish the race and gain some points," Legge said.
Jim Griffith, team owner/engineer said: "This is a really hard track to pass on and starting from where she did (eighth), she had to be patient and she was able to go through the pack. Unfortunately, there were no full course yellow flags. I think this was a good experience for her. She had to race in the heat, but it could have been a better experience to win. We'll work on that."
