Craig Pollock has been speaking in Tokyo of the teams objectives for the year.

"We have got to aim as high as possible if we can. If we don't believe in winning, we'll go for the mid-pack and we'll end up in the mid-pack. So we will try to win together."

Speaking about Australia specifically he said "Firstly, we hope we are going to finish the race. This year we have increased reliability. In all the tests, we haven't had any problems with the car. Even if we are not as fast as we would like to be at the start of the season, we will have a strong basis to work on."

"We have the right elements. We got the right engine manufacturer. We believe the chassis is going to be a solid chassis. We believe we have got a very good driver line-up. So when we get into the race, we're going to do as well as the car, the engine and the drivers can do and we'll be trying to do our best."

Takeo Fukui of Honda went on to contradict Pollock. "We don't aim for a specific place in the race. But Honda for its part has always pictured itself only in top place."

Takefumi Hosaka of Honda said "We have small problems which we will clear one after another. We are also coming close to the position which we have aimed for behind the top team."
