Final Day Of Testing For Lucky Strike B.A.R Honda
Weather Fine
Temperatures Track: 17 Air: 15 ºC

The third and final day of testing in Barcelona for Lucky Strike B.A.R Honda saw Jacques Villeneuve focusing on general set up work in the BAR004. He completed a total of 62 laps, while team-mate Olivier Panis completed 77 laps, concentrating on a Bridgestone tyre testing programme.

Jacques Villeneuve:
"Today was a better day for me. We did some good set-up work and the car felt better than it did yesterday so I'm feeling more positive."

Olivier Panis:
"Today I completed a tyre test programme for Bridgestone in the BAR003 and am happy with the work we've done. We will continue with that programme in Valencia next week as part of our preparation for the Australian Grand Prix. Once again today confirmed that the BAR004 feels mechanically much better than last year's car."

James Robinson, Chief Race Engineer:
"It's been a fruitful 3-day test and again we've learned a number of things that are helping us to prepare for Melbourne. Both cars have done some good work for Bridgestone on their new tyre development programme for the early season races. We've also been carrying out some encouraging work with Honda." <pre> Lap Times, Barcelona, Day 3
