BREMBO RENEWS ITS COMMITMENT TO THE 2008 FIA FORMULA ONE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

BERGAMO, Italy, Feb. 14, 2008 -- Brembo prepares to start the 2008 FIA Formula One World Championship season with the consolidated role of official supplier of brake systems for some of the best Formula One teams, which for many years have been relying on the Italian company to optimize the braking performances of their race cars. This season, Brembo, which entered into Formula One in 1975, will also support the teams in terms of highly technological innovation, performance and safety, providing calipers, pumps, discs and carbon friction systems.

All the components provided by Brembo are designed and continually improved in cooperation with each team. For the 2008 Formula One season, Brembo will supply the following teams: BMW Sauber F1 Team Force India Team Honda Racing F1 Team Panasonic Toyota Racing Red Bull Racing Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro Scuderia Toro Rosso Because of the profitable partnership with the Formula One teams, Brembo is able to continuously produce more technological and innovative products.

The continuous research for new technological solutions and components offering maximum reliability and solutions integrated with the engineering of the cars represents an important testing laboratory. The innovations, discovered and utilized in Formula One, are the final result of a continual challenge, allowing Brembo to provide technically differentiated solutions for each team and driver, improving daily work at every grand prix, and always against the clock. Research and development is, for Brembo, the successful key with regard to original equipment, aftermarket and, last but not least, international motorsports. Every year 5.2 per cent of the total turnover is invested in testing and designing the most innovative brake systems.
