Massa Working On Aero

Driver: Felipe Massa
Car: F2008

Weather: air temperature 17/21 C, track temperature 22/25 C. In turn sunny and cloudy, with a few drops of rain in the morning and wind in the afternoon.

Second day of testing this week for Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro, working along with other teams at a three day test session at the Silverstone circuit in England.

Felipe Massa continued with the work he begun yesterday, on the development of new aerodynamic solutions and on finding the best set-up for the F2008 for this track which, on 6th July, will host the British Grand Prix. The Brazilian driver completed 69 laps, the quickest in a time of 1.21.069. The afternoon was affected by several red flags which prevented work from running continuously.

"The last two days have been quite positive," commented Felipe before leaving Silverstone. "We pretty much did all of what we had set out to do and the first signs are encouraging. We are working in the right direction and I think we will also be competitive at this track, even if it is much too early to say where we are compared to the others. There are too many unknowns to take into consideration when it comes to testing times."

With Felipe having finished his work, it will be Kimi Raikkonen's turn to get into the cockpit of the F2008 tomorrow, for the final day of the test.
