NEW SHELL OIL BRINGS INCREASED ENGINE PROTECTION IN HUNGARY

Lubricant

*Ferrari will use a new engine oil in Hungary. Shell Helix SL0928 will be used by the team to give increased protection to the engine.

*The Hungaroring circuit is characterised by hot, dry weather which can be hard on engines. Additionally, the low speed nature of the circuit means that engines run hotter with reduced airflow through the radiators. Shell has designed this oil to offer more protection specifically for the Hungarian race without any significant loss of power.

"The new engine oil provides Ferrari another oil with which to experiment. Its introduction further expands the team's engine oil portfolio.

*The Ferrari cars will continue using Shell Spirax L6285 gearbox lubricant in Hungary.

Fuel

*Shell V-Power ULG60L/3, introduced in Monaco, will continue to power the Ferrari team at the Hungarian Grand Prix.

*Having been originally designed as a 'desert' fuel, Shell V-Power ULG60L/3 is well suited to the higher-than-average ambient temperatures that are a characteristic of Hungary.
