Nick Heidfeld and Giorgio Pantano continued Jordan Ford's Jerez today in dry and sunny conditions. Different and separate technical issues affected the day's programme, including airport and airline baggage handlers misplacing for an entire day small but significant car parts sent from the factory last night.

Despite the hitches, Pantano was able to complete 24 laps and Heidfeld added another 51 laps, bringing the EJ14's total testing distance to over 1000km.

James Robinson, Head of Race and Test Engineering:

"We have learned a lot about the car today because of the various issues which arose and we are working to address them as quickly as possible. Giorgio did some reconnaissance laps this morning prior to the parts being delivered and that is reflected in his times. The programme is going well overall and we have been able to collect and analyse a lot of data which will help us understand the car and develop it over the coming days and weeks."

Heidfeld will continue testing tomorrow and Pantano will complete the programme on Friday.
