Team Sauber Petronas completed a three-day test here in preparation for the 73rd San Marino Grand Prix at Imola (Italy) on April 14. Felipe Massa, who arrived back from Brazil yesterday, handled the driving duties and set the fourth fastest time of 1m 13.182s in the course of 69 laps.

Giampaolo Dall'Ara (Head of Test Team):

"The good weather today enabled us to complete our aerodynamic evaluation tests in readiness for Imola, as well as to try some different mechanical set-ups. Felipe also conducted a complete programme of assessment of future compounds and constructions for Bridgestone. Overall we are quite satisfied with the way things went today."

Felipe Massa:

"It feels good to be back in the car. I quite like the Valencia track, and it was in much better condition today than yesterday, when Nick Heidfeld reported that it was quite dirty. I'm pleased that we were able to complete our programme."

Weather: Cloudy but dry
Temperature: Track 230; Air 180
Distance: 69 laps, 276,345 kms
