Friday Practice - May 28th

The Arrows Team finished today's practice for the Spanish Grand Prix with Pedro de la Rosa in 19th and Toranosuke Takagi in 20th position.

Pedro de la Rosa: " I am quite happy with the practice session and I think we are going in the right direction. Finally I am on a track that I am familiar with, so I can fully concentrate on my driving. This is of course also my Home-Grand Prix, so I will try very hard to do well. We still have to find more grip, but I am confident that we can sort that out before tomorrow's qualifying."

Toranosuke Takagi: " Today I concentrated on finding a good race balance for Sunday, running with a bigger fuel load. I completed more than 40 laps to evaluate different set-ups. Toward the end of the session I tried a lighter fuel load, but unfortunately there was not enough time to gather data. I think tomorrow's qualifying will be tough for us, but I'll try my best."

Tom Walkinshaw: "We did not experience any major problems with either cars today, which is encouraging. It is a difficult circuit, where track conditions change continuously. However, if we have reliability on our side we anticipate to do well."
