Continued from Part 1
Q: Frank, what makes you confident that 2005 will be a more successful year for the team?
Frank Williams: After the shock and disappointment of this season, there are many people at Grove who are determined to reassert themselves and produce winning race cars.
Q: Ralf Schumacher and Juan Pablo Montoya will leave the team. Are you sad to lose two talented drivers like them?
FW: Both drivers at times delighted and thrilled the team. Between them they scored more wins than any other team apart from Ferrari.
Q: What do you expect of Mark Webber?
FW: Mark is self-evidently a highly talented driver. From what I've seen thus far, he is also quick and calculated, a driver with great potential and talent we hope to be able to exploit. His tenacity, determination and motivation are also qualities we prize at WilliamsF1. As a team, we have traditionally prospered with drivers who have a down-to-earth, 'let's get on with it' attitude. Mark is certainly in that mould, and I am delighted he has agreed to join the team for 2005.
Q: What type of driver are you looking for to fill the second vacant seat?
FW: Ideally, we need someone with experience but also someone who is quick. We need someone intelligent, hard working and, above all, F1 skillful.
Q: What can we expect of the BMW WilliamsF1 Team in 2005?
FW: I hope more victories and for us to be fighting for the Championship, but we will have to wait until Melbourne which will give everyone a clearer picture of our fortunes for 2005.
