The BMW WilliamsF1 Team completed the final day of a three-day test at Monza with Juan Pablo Montoya driving.

Juan Pablo Montoya

"We were meant to do quite a lot of running but lost a bit of track time due to an engine related problem, nothing major, but we learnt quite a lot again. We managed to complete just about everything we had planned. All in all I thought it was a pretty good test."

Sam Michael (Chief Operations Engineer)

Today Juan Pablo finished off preparation work for the Canadian Grand Prix, mainly working on brakes and tyres. It was a relatively successful test and very useful going to Monza in preparation for the low downforce tracks. The test team have been flat out covering tests at both Magny-Cours and Monza this week, which was a very impressive effort."

Dr Mario Theissen (BMW Motorsport Director)

For this last day we concentrated on tyre and brake testing in readiness for Montreal. We did a precautionary engine change due to a drop in oil pressure.
