Draco Racing Jerez test summary

Test in Jerez for Draco Team: excellent results in anticipation of an hard championship!

The preparation for the 2010 World Series Renault 3.5 season continues. The two day of tests in the Spanish circuit of Jerez de la Frontera were completed today and the Draco team was able to test various set-up inside the box, with the two new drivers who have tested on track for the whole week-end.

The results were more than satisfactory, according to the statements issued by the Team Manager Nadia Morini, who said: "Both drivers are improving, we are very hopeful about the champioship, even if it will be an hard-fighting season with several expert drivers in the starting grid. We are working hard and constantly, even outside of the track, with a strong mental and physical training for the drivers. We will continue the work pre-championship at Alcaniz, the same circuit where we will be ready to face the new season."

Still good times for the French Nathanael Berthon who is always in the top of the classification. Today, the Draco's driver missed pole position by a hair, because he did a very quick lap but then the traffic on the track did necessarily slow down. But now it is not important the final time, but the knowledge that Berthon is always among the "top".

Big improvements also for Julian Leal, who inaugurated the 2-day test with an 8th place on 22 drivers in the first round and he worked a lot with his engineer and the mechanics to find the right set-up of the car.

Before the championship, the teams will meet at Motorland in Spain on March 26 and 27, in the circuit which will be officially inaugurated the 2010 season in mid-April.
