Test World Series Renault at Magny Course: 1st time for Berthon in the afternoon session
Nine teams participating in the World Series by Renault 3.5 2010 have gone on track today in Magny-Course for a day of test. Draco team was presents and it has used a single set of new tires, having already used in winter testing the other 2 available according to the regulation, differently of several other teams present.
Despite this, Nathanel Berthon has once again winned on the afternoon the 1st place in the standings on 18 drivers. The french, rookie in the league, still reaches the summit, giving good prospects for the championship.
Good improvements even for Julian Leal who, not being a rookie in WSR 3.5, has a set of tires less and therefore he had to use old tires, but he has reduced the lap distance in a track that he still did not know.
The Draco Drivers will still be on track this week for the official test at Alcaniz in Spain, Friday 26 and Saturday 27 March, preceding the start of the season, on the same track, on 17-18 April.
Nathanael Berthon, Draco Driver:
"Today it was a good day, especially in the afternoon I made good time. I'm in tune with the team and I think we can do a good championship. Now we go to Alcaniz and this test will be very important because the first race will be in that track. "
Omar Julian Leal, Draco Driver:
"The today test is important to test on track and analyze the data. I did not know this track before and therefore today will be important also for the race."
