Nogaro: full house of podium places for SG
The SG Formula race team kicked off its Formula Renault 2.0 West European Cup season by cleaning up all five places on the two podiums at Nogaro... Huh? That's right, five! 1-2-3 in the overall standings, winner in the French championship and best rookie. Red Bull Junior Team driver Jean-Eric Vergne stood head and shoulders over proceedings, taking two pole positions and two victories, despite stiff opposition from the other side of the Pyrenees.
Rendez-vous in Catalonia next April 18-19 for the next round of the WEC and the opening event of the European season.
