TRIUMPH FOR LINOSSI AND MUGELLI AT MISANO TOO
06/05/2007 - Another victory for the crew Linossi-Mugelli on the renewed circuit Santamonica of Misano Adriatico follows the great opening round of the "Campionato Italiano GT" at Adria.
The F430 of Edil Cris Racing Team obtained yesterday the pole position of both races, while Bontempelli-La Mazza got the seventh position in race one starting grid and a second place for race two.
A contact with the crew Livio-Caselli at the race start prevented Linossi-Mugelli to fight for the victory of race one. Nevertheless, the Edil Cris couple finished the race in fourth position, obtaining precious points for the championship classification. Bontempelli-La Mazza retired instead, due to a problem with a suspension.
Race two has been dominated by Linossi-Mugelli that obtained the second seasonal victory, strengthening in this way the classification leadership. Yet unknown causes set on fire the Ferrari 360 of Bontempelli-La Mazza, forcing them to the retirement.
The next round of the Italian GT Championship is scheduled for the 17th of June at Magione.
