Team's Indy Lights' Duo Qualifies 18th and 21st, Respectively
Panther Racing's Firestone Indy Lights drivers Dillon Battistini and Brent Sherman will start in the 18th and 21st spots, respectively, for the first of two Indy Lights races this weekend. Both drivers are in the top ten in the points standings, with Battistini tied for third and Sherman holding onto the tenth position.
Dillon Battistini, No. 15 National Guard Delphi:
"We will have a good racecar for tomorrow. I'll try to work my way through the field, and hopefully I will be quick enough to beat my rivals for third in the championship. We've improved the car a lot from yesterday. It's quite drivable. We still have a little ways to go to get our times down We know where we need to improve though, so we will make those adjustments for the race."
Brent Sherman, No. 16 National Guard Delphi:
"I was feeling pretty good going into qualifying though. Actually, I was very confident that our times would be better. We just couldn't make it happen. We have a lot of ground to make up as a team and as a driver. I think that we can do it though. This is our last road course of the season, and the team and I want to show that we are capable of running a good race on non-oval tracks."
