JiR Moto2 begins their 2010 adventure

The 2010 season will see the JiR Team deployed on the starting grid for Moto2! This will mark the prestigious presence of a team that has already challenged at the highest levels in MotoGP, underlining the interest for this new category that will take the place of the old 250cc two-stroke class. Thirty-nine riders will take part in the race next Sunday, April 11th in Qatar, at the Losail Circuit.

With a three-year plan, the team will feature a premium technical division, leaded by Mauro Noccioli, and will rely on Mattia Pasini and Simone Corsi fighting for the top positions in the World Championship. Gianluca Montiron has introduced some new expertise in the team's management, signing a partnership with Sportways: Assist Group's agency that deals with Sport Marketing.

The new category will see several riders fight on the track with bikes equipped with the same engine but individual, prototyped chassis, for which the technical development will be the main battle between the individual teams.

A new and glorious brand will be featured on the JiR bike's fuel tank: MotoBI.

Gianluca Montiron - CEO JiR

"For several years we have been pursuing the best results, based on the team spirit and expertise and the ambition for excellence that distinguishes JiR's projects, previously in MotoGP and now in Moto2. This is the start of a three-year plan that we hope will realize itself thanks to the debut of our qualified team along with huge investments along with our race-tested structure.

"The front-men will be the riders, who will be asked to reward us all with the results on-track for all the hard work that goes on behind the scenes. We are lucky to have a group of Partners with whom we share the same passion and a sport-marketing plan that assuredly aims to get back in MotoGP very soon."
