ATLANTA, GA (October 14) -- Veteran sports marketing executive Hal Price will be featured on a segment of "Inside NASCAR." The weekly program, which airs on The Nashville Network (TNN), tackles issues behind the scenes of America's fastest-growing sport.
Taped last month at the TNN studios in Charlotte, NC, the segment focuses on the marketing and branding of NASCAR drivers. Program host Stephanie Boyd-Durner and Price discussed the growing importance of creating an image campaign for individual drivers and Price's role in the marketing of three-time NASCAR Winston Cup Champion Jeff Gordon, current Winston Cup points leader Dale Jarrett and up-and-coming Busch Series drivers Adam Petty, Lyndon Amick, Hank Parker, Jr. and others.
Price is the President of Mach One Marketing, a motorsports management company specializing in the development of corporate marketing programs through sponsorship, long-range image and branding of drivers, web site management and media relations.
Prior to forming Mach One, Price was Manager of Sports Marketing for The Coca-Cola Company from 1989 to 1996. Gordon was Mach One's cornerstone client, with Price creating the long term marketing and business strategy that propelled the Winston Cup champ into mainstream corporate America. Since that time, Mach One has helped direct the motorsports campaigns of high-profile corporations including Pepsi, Chesebrough-Ponds, VISA and Ray-Ban.
Most recently, Price was instrumental in bringing Nike into auto racing by securing current Winston Cup points leader Dale Jarrett and fourth-generation driver Adam Petty as members of TEAM NIKE.
"Inside NASCAR" airs this Saturday, October 16, at 4 p.m. ET, and Sunday, October 17, at 10 a.m. ET on TNN.
