The #00 Domino's Pizza Toyota to Start 25th Saturday Night in Phoenix
Phoenix, AZ -- David Reutimann, driver of the #00 Domino's Pizza Toyota in the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series for Michael Waltrip Racing, qualified 25th this afternoon for the Subway Fresh Fit 500 at Phoenix International Raceway.
"The #00 Domino's Pizza Toyota is pretty good but we still know there is some work to be done to make the car better. Of course, it helped that we drew a late qualifying attempt, but I'm proud of my team for continuing to work on it -- getting it better," said David
David delivered the third fastest time of the non-point teams at 130.406 mph, which was good enough to put the #00 Domino's Pizza Toyota in the field for Saturday night's race. Immediately after the first lap the #00 Domino's Pizza team started shaking each others hands with big smiles -- knowing that they would race this weekend.
"Last weekend was tough for our team, considering how good the car was at Texas, so coming out here today and putting down a good lap to make the show is rewarding," said Reutimann.
