Player's Forsythe to Start 1-2 at Player's Challenge at Grand Prix Player's du Canada

WEST ALLIS, Wis. - Player's Forsythe teammates Lee Bentham, of Richmond Hill, Ont., and Alexandre Tagliani, of nearby Lachenaie, Que., will start on the front row for Saturday's KOOL/Toyota Atlantic Championship race at the Grand Prix Player's du Canada.

Bentham, in a Swift 008.a, broke the qualifying record of 1:38.687 set last year by Bertrand Godin with a time of 1:37.305 around the 2.729-mile Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, for an average of 100.96 miles per hour. Tagliani, also in a Swift 008.a, posted a time of 1:38.061 for an average of 100.18 miles per hour.

Buddy Rice, of Phoenix, Ariz., will start third in a Ralt RT-41, alongside Anthony Lazzaro, of Acworth, Ga., in a Swift 008.a, in the second row.

Round Five of the KOOL/Toyota Atlantic Championship is scheduled for a 2:30 p.m. start on Saturday. The race will be the first of four Player's Challenge races held in Canada.
