BRITISH GRAND PRIX - July 9th 1999 FREE PRACTICE

LUCA BADOER Chassis 01 17th 36 laps time: 1:29.130 "The today's free pratice was pretty good and the improvement of the performance is certainly due also to the excellent job carried out at last week's test and to this morning's work on the car. For tomorrow's qualifying things should improve and moreover we shall test the new evolution engine. I hope we can keep the same positions as today because it would be a good result for us."

MARC GENE' Chassis 04 19th 36 laps time: 1:29.416 "My car's traction was pretty good today and I feel satisfied with the outcome of this first day test. Also the time we scored is not bad if we consider the gap of just a little bit more than two seconds with the pole. I feel sure we can still get more improvement."

The T-car (chassis 03) is prepared for Luca Badoer.
