FERRARI AND SHELL PUSH FOR 2006

Fuel

*Ferrari will complete the 2005 Formula One season using Shell V-Power ULG60

*This fuel has now been used for 14 consecutive races - an extremely rare occurrence - but the fuel suits the 054 engine perfectly and is the platform for future research and development

*Fuel is transported to China up to two months prior to the race weekend. It is taken by air in 50' litre drums, as opposed to the normal 200' litre drums

*The journey of the fuel from Shell's UK base in Chester to the Shanghai circuit is a complicated logistical operation that is planned well in advance. Health and safety rules regarding the transportation of fuel as well as various customs procedures can mean an extremely lengthy delivery process

Lubricant

*Ferrari will continue to use Shell Helix SL932 engine lubricant and Shell Spirax L6285 gearbox oil in China

*As the 2005 Formula One season draws to a close, the technical development programme is now focused solely on 2006 and pushing for a stronger year
