Jean Todt "We concentrated on the race today. Practice went quite well and we have found some good reference points for our work. As usual on Friday, it is difficult to get a clear picture of everyone's true potential."

Mika Salo "I am reasonably happy with the car although there are still some things I want to fix. I did some work for the team today and concentrated on the race rather than on my own set up. But from different bits of the laps I did today, we have a clear picture of what we have to do tomorrow. I also did some tyre testing. I am confident because I know there is a lot more to come from the car tomorrow. Generally, after all the work we did last week, I can feel the improvement in the car. I don't know if the tyre choice will be difficult, but I do know it will be important."

Eddie Irvine "All the work we have done over the past few days has paid off and the car is much better, although not perfect. The main effect of the changes which we have made to the car is that we have more grip. At the start of the morning session, I had some difficulties with the tyres and set-up, but then we found a set-up that is promising. I am happy with the car and I think we will be much closer to our main opponents than at the last two races. For tomorrow, I do not know if I can get pole, but I will be aiming for a front row grid position."
