Fifth day of testing for the Scuderia in Bahrain

Maranello, 10th February
Circuit: Bahrain International Circuit, Sakhir - 5.412 km

Drivers: Felipe Massa and Kimi Raikkonen
Cars: F2008

Weather: air temperature 18/24 C, track temperature 25/34 C.Clear skies.

Fifth and penultimate day of this long week of testing for Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro at the Sakhir circuit in Bahrain.

This working Sunday was not the most successful on the reliability front for the two Scuderia drivers. Both Kimi Raikkonen and Felipe Massa had to stop running ahead of schedule prior to the end of their planned programmes. An oil leak stopped Kimi, who was working on car development and set-up testing, while an engine problem interrupted the final part of a race simulation being undertaken by Felipe. Up to that point, the Brazilian had completed 70 laps, the quickest in a time of 1.30.190. Kimi did 61 laps, with a fastest time of 1.30.015.

Testing continues at this circuit tomorrow, still with Kimi Raikkonen and Felipe Massa on track.
