French GP Sauber preview

"Traction is essential to good lap speed because the exit to the last corner in particular dictates so much of your speed for the next half of the lap. It is also particularly important to set the car up well for the high-speed Estoril chicane."

As far as downforce is concerned, we run medium to high levels there.

Nick Heidfeld (25 GPs, 8 World Championship points):
"It's hard to predict race form these days due to the tyre situation, but I like the smoothness of Magny-Cours and I am looking forward to challenging for more World Championship points."

Kimi Räikkönen (9 GPs, 7 World Championship points):
"I haven't done a lot of dry weather driving at Magny-Cours because the weather was pretty poor during our last test there, but it's an easy enough circuit to learn and it's nice not to have the usual bumps that other tracks have. The C20 is well balanced, so it should go well there."
