Karl Wendlinger "Get Well" message

Thanks to the request of Dave Hagood, I am proposing a "Get Well" message to Karl Wendlinger, to follow on the condolence letters I previously organized (140 people sent their condolences to the family of Ratzenberger, and 223 to the family of Senna). I really don't want to make this a regular event, though... :(

The proposed message is shown below; this is open to suggestions from those more experienced at writing such things. Please email any change suggestions to tomh@metrics.com -- *NOT* to the reply address. The letter will also include a brief paragraph explaining the Internet.

We, the motorsport enthusiasts on the Internet, wish to express our best wishes to you at this time of difficulty, and hope for your speedy recovery and return to Formula One.

We have enjoyed following your driving career through sportscars and Formula One, and appreciated your talent, speed and determination. We feel that F1 is poorer without your presence, and wish you all the best in your return to the pinnacle of motorsports.

May your fighting spirit help you through to full recovery!
