Four test days to work on tyre development aimed
at the final rounds of the season
The Scuderia Ferrari spent four full days testing at the Paul Ricard HTTT to work on tyre development for the final two rounds of the 2005 F1 World championship season which is due to end in Shanghai, China on October 16th.
Marc Gené, test driver of the Italian team started the session at the wheel of the F2005, completing some 230 laps (961 Km) of the 2C sc track solution, before German driver Michael Schumacher took over on Thursday and Friday lapping some 209 laps of the same configuration (866 km).
The 2Csc track configuration of 4,145 Km includes the Signes chicane, the Hairpin and the North Chicane in the Mistral straight and is one of the slow track solutions available at the Paul Ricard HTTT out of the now 180 possible configurations.
