Tyre programme
Jarno Trulli concentrated on longer runs using the compounds selected during
yesterday's programme. They represented a definite improvement over long
distance.
Chassis programme
Trulli conducted a damper evaluation programme, although this was cut
short by an engine failure. Franck Montagny concentrated on improving the car's
performance over the kerbs, working on suspension and steering
geometries.
Other Notes
The day started out damp, with the team running wet tyres and evaluating
set-ups and tyre performance for the conditions.
Pat Symonds, Executive Director of Engineering:
"We have had a good week in Jerez, rounded off by a productive final day. In particular, the results from our tyre testing were very pleasing."
The Mild Seven Renault F1 Team's next test session will begin on 20 January at Barcelona.
