Williams aims to make a return to its winning ways at the German Grand Prix after Silverstone proved to be a bit of a disappointment. With two one-two finishes in a row under its belt, Williams was confident heading into the British GP but although Juan Pablo Montoya's second place was by no means a bad result, the team had hoped for more.

Technical director Patrick Head believes the upcoming races on the calendar will suit Williams: "I don't think it is an off race," he said of the British GP. "But I think the circuits coming up will suit us well and I think Ferrari were always going to be strong on this track (Silverstone).

"Every track is different and it plays to some of the strong or weaker points of each car. They were obviously in good shape but every track is different and they were just a bit stronger than us. We will be going to Hockenheim and aiming to come back strongly."

Silverstone was perhaps the most exciting race of the season so far and two safety car periods turned the order upside-down. Ralf Schumacher did not benefit from the turn of events and finished ninth. Currently suffering from a cold, Ralf is determined not to dwell on the last race and intends to fight back at Hockenheim.

"What can I do?" He commented about Silverstone. "Shall I beat my head against the wall? Shall I moan after a possible second place? In this case, it's easy to go on since no accusation can be made against anyone. Silverstone was just bad luck."

"For me it's important to get well again, to completely cure the cold, and then I'm going to attack in Hockenheim again. I'm too ambitious to be content with a short streak of success over two races."
