Circuit: Circuit de Catalunya, Barcelona, Spain.4.655km
Test Objective: Development of the FW30
Weather: Cold with intermittent rain all day. Air temperature: 13C

AT&T Williams drivers, Nico Rosberg and Kazuki Nakajima topped the timesheets in Barcelona today while running a tribute livery to past Williams drivers. Day one of the three day test at the Circuit de Catalunya was severly affected by some adverse weather conditions with the intermittent rain creating an extremely greasy race track for the whole day.

Despite the poor conditions, Nico and Kazuki managed to cover the most kilometres of any team (787kms) as well as register the fastest times.

Both drivers will be back on duty tomorrow to continue set-up work on their FW30s in preparation for the season ahead, which will start in just under a month's time in Melbourne on March 16th.

Dickie Stanford, Test Team Manager:

"The weather really hampered play today in Barcelona. The intermittent rain, in particular, made the track very greasy for the duration of the session. Rosberg and Nakajima were in the cockpit for us and concentrated on set-up work and endurance runs so our running wasn't as adversely affected by the conditions as it perhaps was for others."
