Joel Camathias scored other important "championship" points.
Swiss GT race winner, Joel Camathias (28), alongside his Swiss team-mate Marcel Fassler (33), driving the ACM Trottet Racing # 5 Ferrari F430 GTC, finished 5th in Saturday Race 1 and 2nd in Sunday Race 2.
Things could even gone better, but in Race 1, when Swiss duo was in battle for second position, they had a contact with a slower GT3 car which caused them a spin and a lost of two positions. In addition to that Swiss duo had for Race 1 an handicap penalty of 30 s!
"Well! We are happy but we could even been happier... It`s a pity for the contact we had in Race 1, but as I always say... this is racing!
I like to thank my extraordinary team [ACM Trottet Racing], you are great guys!, and my team-mate [Marcel Fassler]".
We will see Joel back in action with ACM Trottet Racing squad on July 4th and 5th at the fourth round of the International GT Open at Donington (UK).
