As the other teams set up their cars on the main straight of Road Atlanta for the 13th Annual Petit Le Mans, Libra Racing was solving a timing chain problem. With just over an hour to go before the green flag, the black and yellow-liveried Radical SR9 came around the pit wall to take its place on the pit lane.

Harri Toivonen:
"We have had so many problems this week; I hope everything goes well. I don't want to be too optimistic. I'm not so sure we can see the night section, but let's hope we can finish the race because that would be fantastic. But you never know what happens in racing. Everything is new in our team and with the new engine."
Peter Dempsey:
"It's going to be interesting. We'll start from pit lane. We'll go out and shake the car down during the race and pick them off one by one and try to finish it. It's important that we bring the car home. With all the work [the mechanics] have done over the weekend it's important that it doesn't come down to a driver error. We'll keep out of trouble and try to bring the car home."
Andrew Predeville:
"We have to go out and make sure the car is right and hopefully the car is running smoothly. If that happens we just have to run a race, simply put. I think we're all a little nervous about [the engine] but once you get out there and the car's running fine...it should run well so we just gotta go run."
