GRAHAM RAHAL TO START FIFTH IN RACE ONE OF CLEVELAND DOUBLE-HEADER, RYAN LEWIS 20TH
Cleveland, Ohio, June 23, 2006 -- Qualifying for the first round of the Cleveland double-header didn't go as expected today for the Mi-Jack Conquest Racing Team as the session was cut short by a red flag with less than ten minutes remaining due to a tow truck stuck in the mud. Graham Rahal and Ryan Lewis were looking to improve their positions during those crucial final minutes but had to settle for fifth and 20th place respectively on the grid for tomorrow's race. Race one of the Gehl Atlantic Championship of Cleveland starts at 3:30 p.m. ET and will be preceded by qualifying for the second race of the double-header at 9:30 a.m.
5th - Graham Rahal -- (#18 Gehl Company)
"Who knows how much quicker we could have gone, but we know that we could have gone faster. The hardest part is that they had to red flag the session for a mistake they made. I would have expected them to stop time before that. Aside from that, everything else is pretty good, the session went well. Starting fifth is not necessarily a problem, we know here, if you have a good car you can work your way past everybody and I think we have a good car so I'm confident for the race tomorrow."
20th -- Ryan Lewis (#30 Insport)
"I was really looking forward to the last ten minutes of the session to move up the grid but I guess we were unlucky on that one. What hurt us a little bit as well is that we didn't get to complete the whole practice session this morning because I tapped the wall and that cost us valuable track time. I'm sure we will be able to make up for the lost time tomorrow and move up in the race."
