TESTING AT MONZA CIRCUIT, 3rd SEPTEMBER 1998

Circuit: Autodromo di Monza, 5.800 km Drivers: Michael Schumacher, long wheelbase F 300 chassis 187 Eddie Irvine, long wheelbase F 300, chassis 183 Weather: air temp. 25 C, track 34 C, cloudy, with sun and high humidity

Testing began at 09h00. In the morning, both Eddie and Michael worked on the set-up of the F 300. During the lunch break, the engines on both cars were changed. In the afternoon, Michael did an endurance test with several long runs, while Eddie concentrated on brake and tyre testing. The day ended at 18h00.
