Nick Heidfeld completed Jordan Ford's four day test session in Barcelona today, clocking up 85 laps working on a Bridgestone tyre test programme with a best lap time of 1:16.87.

James Robinson, Head of Race and Test Engineering:

"It was another good constructive day for Jordan. We were working very closely with Bridgestone with a continuation of the tyre programme we began yesterday. We also carried out some productive suspension work relating to the new car. Nick did 85 laps on a pretty trouble free day, which is a nice way to finish our final test before the new car runs in a week's time or so. Nick did an excellent job again today, giving some very good feedback and I think Bridgestone have a lot of useful information to assist over the weekend."

Nick Heidfeld:

"It was a good couple of days for me. It was nice to drive the car in dry conditions and get through some of the work that the weather prevented us from doing in Jerez last time I tested with Jordan. We concentrated on tyres mostly although there were some other test items today. It is definitely good to be back in the car, really good fun."

Jordan Ford's test programme resumes on 4 February with a two day session at Silverstone with the EJ14.
