Team Sauber Petronas completed its four-day test at the Circuit de Catalunya today. Giancarlo Fisichella covered 77 laps in chassis C23-01 to set a best time of 1:17.248.

Giampaolo Dall'Ara (Race Engineer):

"Today we have run an engine programme which focused on a race simulation and combined this with Bridgestone tyre work. Basically we were hoping to finish this reliability test by noon, but because the car stopped on the track due to an electronic problem our work was delayed until the afternoon. However, we were able to complete our programme for today so far and are satisfied with the results we got."

"Despite of some initial difficulties at the beginning of our tests this week with regard to further software adjustments and hence the proper set-up of the C23 we could complete our scheduled programme. Those test days delivered valuable data and results which will give a solid basis for our further work."

Giancarlo Fisichella
Chassis: C23-01
77 laps, 356.279 kilometres
Best time: 1:17.248
