WILLIAMS F1 AND POWER PLATE UNVEIL A HIGH OCTANE COLLABORATION

1st June 2010: Power Plate International today confirmed a new licensee partnership with Williams F1, to produce Williams branded Power Plate machines to be sold globally through selected exclusive retail partners.

The limited edition Power Plate pro6 machine, finished in the distinctive Williams livery, was officially launched at Harrods department store in London, on Friday 28th May. It was also previewed to the Formula One community during the Barcelona and Monaco Grand Prix events.

The Williams name has been synonymous with performance in the motor-racing world since the late 1970s, while Power Plate International, global leader in Acceleration Training technology, has set the standard in vibration training equipment since its launch a decade ago.

Frank Williams, Team Principal of the AT&T Williams team, says, "We are delighted to welcome Power Plate as a new Williams F1 licensee. Power Plate is committed to delivering technologically innovative products making this new partnership a natural fit for both parties."

"We are thrilled to be working with Williams. Formula One drivers are elite athletes and we are wellplaced to offer them access to a cutting-edge fitness technology that can help them gain that all important competitive edge. We are also delighted to offer armchair Formula One fans around the world the opportunity to follow in the footsteps of their heroes and improve their fitness on their own limited edition Williams Power Plate machine," says Guus van der Meer, Founder and Chairman of Power Plate International.

As the result of two companies committed to performance through design and technology, it is fitting that the limited edition Williams Power Plate pro6 machine is equipped with the newest fitness innovation, proMOTION technology.

It is available to purchase exclusively from Harrods department store and directly from Power Plate International from 28th May 2010. Each model is individually numbered and accompanied by a signed certificate, stating its authenticity.
