There was a strong sense of frustration for International Draco Racing at the end of qualifying for the fifth round of the 2015 Formula Renault 3.5. Lining-up at the Austrian Red Bull Ring venue, the team had everything they needed to collect great results, although several setback prevented Pietro Fantin from fighting for the positions he deserved.
I almost ran out of fuel and I didn't have the chance to defend my position.

In the first qualifying session, the Brazilian was forced to stop at the half point due to a broken cable, while in the second, which was also marred by rain, he couldn't set a late flying lap with the drying track because he found himself short on fuel. As a consequence, he had to settle for the 10th position.
After ending up the first session in 18th, Bruno Bonifacio improved consistently by working hard on the car and managed to end up qualifying 2 in 13th.
Pietro Fantin (#19): Q1 – P19; Q2 – P10: “I feel very sad today because the car was extremely quick. Unfortunately, we were unable to take the results we deserved due to a series of issue. In the opening qualifying session I stopped right after the first corner due to an electronic issue, while in the second one, with just a few minutes from the end, I almost ran out of fuel and I didn't have the chance to defend my position”.
Bruno Bonifacio (#20): Q1 – P18; Q2 – P13: “This track is really particular because it isn't too long and has just a few corners. If you make a mistake, you pay an heavy price. That's what happen in qualifying 1 when I got the last corned wrong in my penultimate lap and also ruined my chances for the last flyer. In qualifying 2 things got better and we ended up being really close to the top-10”.
