Kleinubing and Hacquard Reunite to Lead Team i-Moto Racing for 2011

Team principal Glenn Bocchino has recently re-signed Brazilian Pierre Kleinubing and Canadian Taylor Hacquard to pilot one of the team's Mazdaspeed 3's to contest for the championship in the Continental Cup ST Class of the Grand Am series for 2011. The duo co drove with one another in 2010 helping Mazdaspeed Motorsports and the team to develop the car so it can be a contender for the championship this year. Despite the growing pains they experienced last year, they remain steadfastly optimistic about their chances to get this car and the team on the podium with a high degree of consistency. The i-MOTO team has been enhanced since the 2010 season debut, with new employees added to compliment those returning from last year in order to give them every opportunity to get the job done.

Glenn Bocchino's vision for this duo..."Despite the toughest of circumstances last year related to the growing pains we experienced developing this new car for Mazda, these 2 drivers remained totally committed to success for Mazda and for one another. They make an excellent pair of drivers and I am looking forward to helping them get on the podium and win the championship for Mazda, contest for the ST class championship and assist me with my goal to become the team to beat. As the team's principal, I will do everything I can to help them win!"

Pierre Kleinubing happy to be back..."I think Taylor and I make an excellent driver pairing. It is rare to have such cohesion on and off the track. We even have last names nobody can pronounce so we do have a lot in common. I think we will be the team to beat in 2011 and I am happy to be back with i-MOTO and Taylor. Thanks to Glenn Bocchino for being so stubborn and putting us back together again, we will not disappoint him this year. We all deserve a second shot with this car and this team and we will succeed!"

Taylor Hacquard on his second chance in Grand Am for 2011..."I am honored to be co driving with a former world champion touring car driver (Pierre) and feel we have some unfinished business out there in 2011. We make an excellent pair; have very similar driving styles so it's a formula for success for the team and for Mazda. Many thanks to team Principal Glenn Bocchino for showing such support and we owe a ton of gratitude to him and the team, we will be there this year, for sure! The Mazdaspeed 3 is a real contender and our goal is nothing short of the championship for 2011, for Mazda, for i-MOTO and for us as drivers. We know we can do it!"

Tommy Badger, Crew Chief for i-MOTO on the up coming season..."You know you have a special driver pairing when despite the growing pains we experienced last year, these guys always found a way to turn a negative into a positive. We had a lot of fun last year with these guys and I can only image how our team will respond once we get on top of the podium this year. Our team has been working non-stop on this car since the last event in 2010 and we are ready to go and feel we are way ahead of where we were this time last year. So I cannot wait to see that first green flag waived at Daytona to start out the 2011 season."

There will be more news to follow with i-MOTO sponsorship in 2011 and more information relative to a second duo to pilot the second Mazdaspeed 3 soon!
